Questions for Muses.

[It depends on the praise in question. If it’s a one-off compliment – whether it’s about his abilities or even appearance – he won’t thank you for it. He’ll take it in his stride and carry on with scarcely anything more than a smirk on his face. He knows he’s strong, powerful, and has a visage that’s easy on the optics and he hardly needs to be told such a thing; it simply is and you happened to acknowledge it verbally. Something so simple is hardly befitting of thanks.

If it’s constant praise, however, he will quickly become weary of it. He can easily tell the difference between a genuine compliment and a sycophant vying for attention by sucking up to him in whatever way they think will work, In those sorts of circumstances, he will not hesitate to make his displeasure known.]
