Foreign Languages

So even I am Mexican American and have spent my whole life in LA I can’t speak Spanish. I’ve been trying to fix that by teaching myself Spanish these last few month because tbh it’s kind of embarrassing not knowing Spanish.

I’ve actually always been more interested in learning Japanese and I actually do know how to read hiragana and katakana but can’t actually translate very much. Since I’m Mexican American I’ve always felt like I should know Spanish before learning any other foreign languages. So I’ve decided to try and learn both at the same time. I don’t know i it’s a good idea or not but I’m doing it anyways.
