the story is, mom and i have had a singing santa figure for as long as i can remember, and it used to sing santa claus is coming to town, but since it's so old now, all it does is screech in the most horrific tones you've ever heard. we keep it in our house and let it scream through every december because we're such festive people.
earlier this week mom put it in front of my door as a prank to wake me up and i admit i screamed a little. to make sure it doesn't happen tomorrow, i took the figure and placed it on the roof where i thought she couldn't get it.
she got it.
