Technically the introductory comic of Amethyst in this AU (By Tripixle)

The comic above is a post-greg meeting where we see Coral/Pinkpearl being less close to Garnet or Pearl because she defended for Rose’s decision. Unfortunately, Garnet and Pearl couldn’t accept the decision, which later made Coral a lot more distant from Pearl and Garnet. 

The two couldn’t accept that their leader would be gone and they probably took it out on Coral. Which was a plot point resolved by Tripixle in an animatic, but it got taken down with the rest of her work. 

(Also, if you notice, three of the post are screenshots a few months back, screenshot number 1 and 4 has "Tripixle achieve" as the profile, which is taken recently after her announcement.)

Lol actually there is another short comic that actually introduces the relationship between Coral and Amethyst as her introduction, but that’s not in her Instagram achieve so i cant really do much abt it.

Description of the missing short comic:

First panel, showcasing Amethyst with an awkward Coral standing beside her, not really knowing what to do.

Second panel, “After some time”, showcasing how their friendship had developed with Coral leaning her chin on Amethyst’s head, hanging out and joking around.

This is one of her earlier works, its an very significant plot point and its what i wish to elaborate in future chapters (or rather past issues) in my own interpretations.

(I’m gonna try my best to redraw the short comic! Wish me luck!

Pearlplusau Animatic #2: Its over isn't it? (By Tripixle)

I've posted a description of the video from before, post link can be found here.

But if you're interested, I have some additional thoughts:

Pearl's idea of "I was fine with the men, who would come into her life now and again" indicates Rose dated several other humans that came and went as time goes by.

In this au however, she might have left out Coral from the equation because she didn't think Coral was even a competition.

However, when Coral came into the scene, Pearl finally realized there IS someone that understood. Coral was with Pearl the whole time. The rebellion, the life on earth, the aftermath, Rose's death, and Steven's birth.

This is probably why their duet makes sense. The two pearls have been playing an epic chess match for Pink/Rose's heart but in reality, they've both lost to Greg and neither of them wanted to admit it.

This is probably the breaking point of their relationship and how they can finally talk about it without worrying to be at each other's throats.

But anyways, these are just my thoughts.

Lastly, two animatics down, two to go!

Coral's part in Happily Ever After has been sent in, but they're not exactly in their original versions. I'll try to edit in an instrumental soundtrack of Pearl's Happily Ever After and hope for a similar outcome!

Now we're just missing "Listen Before I Go", which is probably the other huge animatic project done by Tripixle regarding this AU.

Pearlplusau animatic #1: The Great Divide (By Tripixle)

I believe this was the first animatic that introduced the AU.

Full video description and brief analysis below:

So in the beginning, we were given a glimpse of Pearl's original position, which most of us believed to be White Diamond's pearl. (This was before the canon origin of Pearl was released.)

Pearl had a brief eye contact with Pink Diamond's pearl while they passed by. There we can tell they probably weren't super close or anything, just Pink Pearl (who I will be calling her Coral from this point on) casually waving at another pearl like they were acquaintances in the same office.

After Pearl was assigned or "given" to Pink Diamond (without Coral getting hurt and replaced), she found her new diamond panicking over her burning throne while Coral was doing her best. Pearl realized right then and there what she was getting into for the rest of her gem life. She activated the sprinkler system and accepted her new role and post.

The next scene showed how Coral was a bit nervous around the new pearl. Her quick glances were noticed by the aloof-looking Pearl but her friendly handshake was finally started their relationship. (This is most likely how the two introduced each other similar to the short comic.)

We see Pink balancing on a giant ball with Coral by her side. Pearl came in, flipped out, and rushed to her now wobbling diamond. Coral was less worried but she joined in on the mayhem. Pink fell down and both pearls caught her. The trio, now laying on the floor, was stunned for a moment. Pearl got up and checked if her diamond was hurt in any way, but the diamond couldn't help herself and burst into laughter with Coral. It looked like Pearl was able to finally let herself go from her own strict codes and officially join the two as a group.

After Pink got her first colony, Earth, from Yellow and Blue, she had fun adventures with her pearls but found out how it was damaging the planet. She formed the rebellion starting with her two loyal friends.

After their encounter with the permafusion at the sky arena, the trio came to a rest and discussed their excitement. The trio accidentally fused from their shared excitement and startled the passing permafusion, who later joined in as Garnet.

The next scene cut to a battle with Homeworld gems, where we saw the Crystal Gems had the upper hand from the battle. Unfortunately, it was also the last battle as three diamonds launched a direct attack on the planet Earth. Rose realized what was truly going on and grabbed the closest gems to her, Coral and Garnet. The other closest member, Pearl, was too far for the leader to reach, but Coral was not one to give up on her companion. She screamed at Pearl, urging her to come over. She was finally within reach and into safety as the light shone bright green.

Skipping a few storylines, we see Rainbow Quartz being shown off to Greg the human. Coral looking a bit upset seeing Greg (or RQ?). We then move on to the talk of Greg and the leader of the Crystal Gems. Coral was found to be just as worried as the rest.

As Rose gave out her big announcement to the gems, Coral forced out a smile, trying to be happy for her leader while Garnet and Pearl took a different turn. Coral tried to keep the group together but failed to do so as everyone wanted to be alone.

Pearl was found weeping behind a stone hand by Coral. The two pearls wasn't sure whats going to happen, but they know they'll get through it when they have each other.

After that its a sequence of major events in rapid pace, from Steven joining the team, to Opals appearance, to the fight with Sugilite, to Coral's fusions with the gems, to Stevonnie, to the arrival, to the Malachite arch, to Coral's confrontation with Pink (Story for another time), to the Sardonyx arch, to Coral and Garnet's fusion, to the Rupphire wedding, and finally, to the Diamond days arch.

Aw man, I haven't seen this animatic for a super long time. So glad I was able to find it on youtube, which was re-uploaded by someone else after the original got deleted.

I'll be posting another animatic I found online, but the other two animatics are still nowhere to be found. To whoever's reading this, please take a look at your downloaded folder and see if you have the following animatics downloaded:

Pearlplusau Animatic #3: Here we are in the future (Coral's part)

So as you can see from the video, there were no original animatics found. However, someone sent me voice-over versions of the animatic. I downloaded Pearl's instrumental version of "Happily Ever After" from this link cuz they have similar background music of a piano.

Then I downloaded the voice-overed animatic, removed the audio, and added the instrumental soundtrack instead! You would not believe how magical it was to match the soundtrack with the animatic!

Anyways, the animatic of Coral/Pinkpearl's Happily Ever After tells the similar story of the gem's origin. We get to see how Coral was given to Pink Diamond, their companionship until Pearl came in, and growing into her own identity instead of just "Pink Diamond's pearl."

We're 75% into the project! We need just one more animatic called "Listen Before I Go" and the project will be complete! Thank you to tumblr blogger who sent me the links to the voice-overed animatics. Maybe after the project is done, I'll ask the permission of the voice-over artists on Youtube and maybe post them here too!

Hello Pearlplusau fans!!!

Most of you are probably aware of the deleted animatics made by Tripixle. To recap, she was getting busy with college and couldn't handle the workload. She decided to move on and remove all her artworks to a new instagram account, "tripixle archieve" and deleted her Youtube channel where she posted all her animatics. (More info can be found at the end of the pinned post here)

To this fandom, they are probably one of the most skilled and beautifully drawn animatics we have ever seen.

Therefore, I would like to request your assistance on sending in any Pearlplusau animatic done by Tripixle. I know there's someone out there that miss the animatics as much as I do.

The video could be on your phone, laptop, or any device. From these devices, you can uploaded them to a google drive. The link to the drive can be sent in for me to download. I'll upload them to this blog so that everyone can enjoy the masterpieces. Who knows, there might be new fandom members that have never seen this before.

So please, take a look in your downloaded video folders and send in!

This will be a great project for us to do, hopefully we can achieve this goal together!

Happy Halloween Everybody!

Its the end of October, so lets talk about our little project we had together.

So from the posted animatics, we know how we completed 75% of our little assignment.

1. The Great Divide (The overall arch of Pink Pearl in the storyline) ✔️

2. Listen before i go (Garnet and Coral)

3. It's over isnt it (Pearl and Coral)✔️

4. Coral's part in "Here we are in the future“✔️

It was hoped that the project will be available by the end of October this year.

But dont worry, the project will still be opened after this month. (Infinitely i guess?) If anyone, and i mean ANYONE has the animatic "Listen before i go" of Garnet and Coral on ANY of their devices, please send it in so we can share it with the rest of the Pearlplusau community!

Thank you to the people that send in the links to the posted animatics. None of them would have been available for many of the fans.

Also, in case you were wondering, I did went and search for the last animatic. It has not been hopeful to any degree and I really wish someone out there has it!

PearlPlus! Introducing the two Porls!

Ok so, this is the second pearlplusau comic in Tripixle's instagram, as you can see in the first panel, we see Rose being attacked possibly an Amethyst and a Jasper. As she grinned at the two enemy gems, her faithful companions with a sword in hand comes in and Assist in combat, while also being introduced as "Terryfying tales of her two pearls"

Scrolling through the comments section on that post, i see a lot of ppl wishing Pearl to be called Rainbow, possibly because of two reasons:

1. If they want to be easily differenciated, both having different names instead of leaving one of them to preserve the name Pearl, it would be more, fair to both of them as that name was what they were called for so long.

2. Rainbow quartz fusion influence? The knowledge of Pearl's fusion with Rose resulting as RQ? Its a possibility lol.

I decided to repost this not because of random posting or anything, this is like, the influence of getting PinkPearl called "Coral" instead of what Tripixle named.

Which will be addressed in the next Chapter.

Im working on a digital poster so you guys can get a picture of what it might lead to.
