For the last 3 photos, what are these fungus-loving pals? They were very small and fast so it was hard to get a good picture, so no worries if they’re too fuzzy to tell. I found all these dudes in Portland, OR
What beautiful slugs! The hole is called a pneumostome, and inside it are respiratory organs, so they use it for breathing. It can open and close, so it’s not always as obvious as it it in the first photo, but it is always on the right side.
I’d need better photos of the flies on the mushrooms to ID them. The lil beetle is mayyybe a pleasing fungus beetle in the genus Triplax, but again, I’d need better photos to be more confident!
