I cannot express how much the Griffin and Sabine books bring me joy. I've had them for a while now after finding the trilogy at a library book sale. I keep thinking how neat the idea was ("extraordinary correspondence") but hadn't carved out time to read them. I've been on a personal quest to buckle down on combing through my books and making deliberate time to read more.
I picked Griffin and Sabine today and just inhaled the books! I can't express how capturing it was to read the postcards and letters between the characters, the incredible art, and the unnatural (yet most natural) relationship they have. It is.. phenomenal. How Nick Bantock dances between on line of is this real or are they mad. Its unnerving and beautiful.
