Summary: The war is over. Hermione is struggling with PTSD, and her guilt over developing feelings for Fleur that started at Shell Cottage. She’s still pining for her friend when she’s suddenly sent back to 1994 by an unknown force. She relives the tournament as her 19-year-old self in her 15-year-old body in an alternate universe where Fleur falls in love with her after the second task.

Will she find her way back home, or would she rather stay?

This fan-art is for Bright Side, my supposed Fleurmione Week Day 3: Time Travel entry, that I forgot to update because I was so into drawing weeks before the event. I was so absorbed and inspired to create visual art for FW2023 so I just allowed myself to enjoy doing that instead of forcing myself to write.

I have never participated in an event like this and I have to say, I learned so much about digital illustration in the last few weeks leading to the event than I have in the last 10 years! I have not been drawing as much as well. But anyhow, I think I shall take a break for now with this last piece, so I can focus on improving my writing skills because god knows I really want to finish this story.

“This is just about sex for you right?” Hermione mumbled.

“Of course,” Fleur said with a small laugh and kissed her shoulder. “We are friends, and sometimes we are lovers. That is all.”

Hermione made a noise of agreement as she held Fleur tighter, drifting off to sleep in her arms.

Fleur lay awake much longer, her body exhausted and more than ready for sleep but her mind seemed unable to allow it. She had answered Hermione's question immediately, and it was the truth, but some part of her had started to whisper that maybe it wasn’t the whole truth. It wasn’t like she was in love with Hermione. She just noticed her. And the noticing was getting more… noticeable.
