If Tris came out alive in Allegiant, I think I'd be perfectly fine but nope, veronica had to kill off another innocent character

I kind of still have that last bit of hope where Veronica says, "I'm just joking guys, Tris didn't really die, here's the real ending of the book." Like that's ever gonna happen...... Ugh. Why.
