[All throughout the weekend, Tristan had been fighting a losing battle. Stuck in a state of unconsciousness with venom threatening to consume every last inch of him, and his incredibly gifted mind fighting to battle it down. It was a losing battle, and he knew this. He could only fight for so long before his heart gave out or the rest of him simply succumbed to the venom. But still he fought to resist it. It was a deeper part of his brain that fought it, the part that felt it would die out if he became like Tony. But the surface, the parts of his brain that cared for his brother and friends and of course Tony wanted him to stop fighting and just give in. He could still be there for them if his mind would only let him. His body felt as though it were on fire, and all through the day and night hours, he trashed and screamed while his veins pumped venom into every last pore. And finally, his eyes snapped open, his normal gold irises now a burning flaming yellow/gold, and he sat bolt upright in the bed, gasping and clutching at his chest as though his heart was beating too fast for him to keep up. He launched himself out of bed, clutching the end table until his knees buckled and he hit the floor with a hard smack. Lifting his sweat-soaked head, Tristan leaned on his hands and knees and tried not to scream as a second voice in his head howled for him to give in to his first transformation. Still he resisted, clawing uselessly at the floor while his back contorted and he tried not to let it consume him. Head jutting forward, a shocking pain suddenly stabbed into his chest as though someone had pierced him with a fiery blade, and the newborn wolf howled again in agony. Tristan fell backwards again, back slamming against the side of the bed as the silver ring burned a hole just beneath his neckline. He refused to remove it, as it was keeping the werewolf at bay, despite how much it hurt him] To....Ton-y? [Like a newborn doe, he wobbled onto his feet and fell against the door frame] TONY!
