What does your muse look into in their soulmate?

How they work ( ? ) -- do I make sense? Just how they react to certain situations, people, etc. Whatever the case so that he can accomodate for the both of them with whatever’s up.

Your muse’s future dream and why.

Oho /sweats. The current one Reiji’s working towards is still unclear so when talking about his future especially is a bit wonky to work with. As far as practical dreams ( or really expectations go ) would be having a family of his own -- a partner with possibly a child or two. The only reason for why this is it is because when it came to his small family, it was enough to warm him up even with the void where his dad was supposed to be. He wants to continue and make it even warmer/pleasant.

Does your muse like nature in general?

Definitely! Although he’s grown up to be mainly a city/small town kind of person, nature is something he admires and thinks should be handled properly and with delicacy.

What calms your muse down?

Driving. It’s one of the most effective ways to get him to calm down since it makes him distracted in a way. It keeps his mind off of what may have happened prior to going on the road for a little bit while taking in a bit of the passing scenery.

Favourite time of year?

Mid to late autumn. Not only is it sweater weather but the most festive in his opinion. [ cue spooky scary skeletons bgm ]

Can your muse write? How well/bad?

Reiji’s a decent writer, but perhaps not as good as what an award winning author would be. He’s the type who writes mainly when feeling compassionate about something, or is just in the mood. [ quietly laughs as I have a letter blog for Reiji over to pair with his Ai in a later timeline ]

Can your muse draw? How well/bad?

Ehh.. He’s not very artistic in the case of talent but when creative juices are bubbling he’ll go at it nonstop. When Shining Art came around there was no stopping his paint brush from painting on everyone.

Something that gets your muse angry.

When those who he’s having conflicts with unnecessarily drag in outsiders into the matter(s). There’s no reason for others to be involved in something they weren’t originally involved in to begin with so Reiji will seriously be peeved if something like that happened. Glances at Kei his AS route.

Can your muse speak any other language other than their main one?

Reiji attempts at English from time to time ( stares at him for awhile ). He’s not decent, nor is it well off enough for him to hold a proper conversation. Go take some actual classes, Reiji.

Something your muse finds pretty.

He’s pretty fond of how fruit/vegetables looks when they just get washed. There are small droplets covering the produce, making it shine/glisten a bit to make him rather pleased with it. There’s no real reason why he’s like that but it’s just been a thing since he was little helping his mom out at their bento shop.

How often does your muse text?

More than Ran does. He doesn’t over/under-text, if that makes sense? He’s used to his smartphone now because it’s been awhile since he first got it but he’ll use it minimally for when he’s conducting work-related business, when he’s bored ( for games and the sort ), and to talk to others when making plans most of the time. The last time he was texting was a week ago I believe? -- to Aine about Thanksgiving dinners.

Does your muse worry about time?

Depending on the occassion. I would say he typically does though, but he’s not too strict about it, if I make any sense.

Does your muse believe in the afterlife?

I would think so lol. He gets spooked with the spirits, legends, and myths he’s heard about since he was a kid so even if he is an adult he’s still a bit of an occultist.

What is your muse’s phone gallery filled with?

He mainly has albums compiled with his selcas, photos of family ( past && present ), with or of friends ( so you can imagine the amounts of QN/OB group that are in there ), and typically of dishes he’s made to try and up his cullinary skills.

Something that your muse has a problem understanding.

If I had to say the most obvious one, it’d be that he’s allowed to be happy. Although at this moment he’s still working on it ( in the case of my Reiji anyways ), it’s still difficult for him to grasp the concept of actual happiness after trying to avoid it for so long. Mhm.

1. holiday headcanon

     i honestly feel that reiji’s the type to head back to his hometown when it comes to the holidays. that’s the case with my reiji anyways lol. he’s fairly family-oriented so there’s no surprise there. when it comes to the kotobukis, there are almost always family gatherings -- especially when new additions ( coughs his new brother-in-law & perhaps niece/nephew ) join the family.

14. dancing headcanon

     reiji’s quick to learn footwork -- it’s the foundation of any dance in the case of this kotobuki. although he learns it at a fast pace, that isn’t to say he doesn’t spend as much time as he does with any other part of dancing. he works to be swift and naturally flowing when it comes to his dancing so it’s not rare to see him watching himself work sweat and all in a room filled with mirrors. his dancing requires numerous amounts of stamina so it goes without saying that he does cardio often. other than that, he’s suave when performing in both the body when dancing and faces he makes while singing.

     WHEN HE FINALLY THREW CAKE IN RAN’S FACE. lol no jk pffft ; v ; ahhhh that’s rly hard ngl? reiji has photo albums that he even brought from home to his current home. then again, his favourites at this moment ( since he can’t rly choose one ) would be these since whenever he looks at them it reminds him that they helped him get back into the swing of things even without them knowing that ( since another hc was that he was grouped with them as a unit while still trying to recover from the aine incident ).
