When you pass through the first Torii of the Nakamura Shrine in Angel City, the perception filter takes you back a thousand years. Even current caretaker, Trixie Danvers, conceals her prosthetics during the heritage festival to reinforce the illusion.
Why is Trixie the caretaker of Nakamura shrine? She was adopted by her martial arts instructor Goukan Nakamura before he passed away so he could keep it in the family.
