I wonder if Zari and Trobu would enjoy fishing together. Also it totally never crossed my mind that Zari could conjure cake but I should know this xD
One of your spells is to summon bread and confections! I don’t play a mage and I know that. XD Then again it might not be a canon thing... I kinda took liberty with that, sorry >.<
And I... Donno... Trobu fishing... I... I can’t say he’d use a rod and reel. We are talking about Trobu here. If he did use a rod and reel... He’d yank the rod too hard every time and most likely not catch anything. He’d get annoyed and either just sit by Zari or... if he could visually see the fish... and it was a stream or shallow water... You see where I’m going...
“Ju gotta let da fish bite! Ju yankin’ it right from da fishes mouth, Trobu.” Zari said looking to the hulking treebear troll as he yet again yanked his line from the water. Trobu frowned at the empty bone hook, seeing he’d yanked it so hard that the bait was barely clung on.
“Trobu no like dis wey of fishing.” He huffed as he laid the rod down. “Ja too eager.” Replied the smaller female. A moment of silence went by as a school of trout started to swim by in the clear shallow water. Zari barely noticed it at first, despite his hulking size but Trobu started to stealthily move.
She darted her head back and forth between the school swimming close to her bait and the stalking troll. His eyes like a bear, locked on the fish. “I’m bout t’git a bite. Don’chu dare...” But it was falling on deaf ears. “Trobu! Don’chu-” But before she could stop him the forest troll leaped and belly flopped in the water... Right on top of the fish.
“DAMNIT TROBU! JU BIG DUMB TREE.” She bellowed covered in water, glaring at the other. But when he turned, he had a sizable trout in his hands. He quickly bit it on the head to dispatch it quickly and stop it struggling. Soaking wet he turned to Zari with the fish hanging from his mouth, grinning.
“Trobu wey better. Trobu catch fish.” He said sloshing through the water and spitting the trout out at her feet. Although he paused in fright at her furious glare.
