This might be the worst episode of NewWho and there's been some bad episodes. I literally hate every bit of this. It'd kitschy, the writing is awful, and the acting is subpar. I hope this isn't a hint of how Bill's season is going to go next year.

This episode is all about comic books and superheros. This is literally my nightmare. Why would they taint this show like this??? I can't believe Moffat is cheapening the brand this hard. I always fucking vouched for him. What a shame.
Those who are keen viewers will recognise the bad guys, who have a telling scar down their faces, from a previous episode. And the references to River Song allow this story to slot seamlessly into the Doctor Who catalogue, while working just as well as a standalone piece.
