Did you know? In Giants's alpha, Trog Pinchers have a broken intro cutscene and reuse the models and sounds of Rhu-Babies. They lack their alert sounds but move at the same speed as the final, and also have the final's defeat animation. In unused Gecko Chrous dialogue, they are still referred to as Rhu-Barbs.

Did you know? Giant Trog Pinchers were also called Trog Punctures in the game's alpha versions. They even had an unused Skystone, which was identical to that of the Trog Wanderers. This Skystone confirms the Trog Puncture (and probably also the Pincher's) element to be Undead.
Did you know? Despite being the same, Trog Pinchers and Trog Punctures use slightly different designs from each other in the Wii version.
