       ❛Looks like I’m not the only one who’s good with a SWORD.❜ There’s a certain pride that surrounds the other, visible to the eye but not one mistaken for arrogance. It’s a humble confidence, one of someone who knows her skills and limitations as well- the pride of a warrior.

   He’d signed it and she’d smiled, light and concerned despite the compliment it was in the way Donna Troy did when she was worried. In turn she responded in the same way he’d started, sloppy signing but she was trying and it was occupied by spoken word. “You’ve helped people too. You can help more.”

      He smiled, a small, slightly crooked smile, not quite using the entire mouth. A smile that said he wanted to believe her words as much as she believed them--and he trusted she did believe them. Donna wouldn’t lie to him. He signed, slowly since she seemed out of practice, “Hope so.”
