alright everyone likes the idea of some trolls having phosphorescence,  but what about some of the trolls having hypnotic patterns on their fins that change shapes and colors depending on their mood? 

what about indigo troll! rose having hypnotic fin patterns, the shapes smearing and unfurling into designs capable of passing as Rorschach tests whenever she thinks? 

troll! rose keeping her fins furled tightly whenever she’s speaking to someone to keep from hypnotizing/frightening them, going even to the point of keeping them pinned underneath a headband whenever she has her viewport open. 

troll! rose popping them open whenever she wants to intimidate someone

her fins popping open whenever she’s making a point 

or her fellow trolls considering her fins to be quite beautiful, like a poisonous flower.

she and Troll! roxy speaking to each other just in these pattern displays, having been moirals for so many sweeps that its just natural for them.
