After having finally made a kinblog, ive realized something.

What do i even post??

Like, i post drawings n’ stuff, but outside of that? I dunno

Should i post analyses, essays, short posts, stuff abt my canon??

This is a rhetorical question of course but i guess ill just have to like- look at other kin blogs lol

And also since its a side blog i cant send asks to other ppl through it or else itll just go through my main.

Every tine i post or reblog something my anxiety spikes because im worried i posted it to my main instead.

Such is the life of an adventurer i suppose

I went out the other day, was hoping to find my beret but, alas

I couldnt find it.

I struggled to find anything that really felt connected to ME, and i wish i did.

Amma knows i wanted to find something familiar, hell- i still want to!

I dunno.

I made myself peppermint tea last night. It was nice.

I just wish i could enjoy it without trying to emulate something that wont come back.

I miss my mum, i miss my life, i miss twig, i miss frida, i miss david, i miss alfur, i miss tontu

I miss adventuring, or feeling safe enough to go outside,

I miss the creatures, the woffs, the forest giants, the trolls,

I miss being in a body that wasn’t actively trying to kill me,

I miss the pure joy of adventure,

I miss being able to run in an open field,

Though i am content.

I made kandi bracelets of frida and david, ill try to make ones for everyone else.

I may never see them again, but the only thing i can do is make the best of this.

I found my sweater, kinda!

Its colorblock but its the same red orange as in canon

Here to me finding my beret, boots and skirt next (im hoping i somehow had exact copies of them stored deep in the garage that i got at a thrift store or smth when i was younger bc i have enough clothes that fit and dont wanna worry my mum or dad w/ going to the thrift shop or target)

My dad went to say goodnight to me, and he started whistling.

As much as the wood man did annoy me, it was comforting to have a reminder of home :]

I made my scarf, its ugly, misshapen, and the crochet stitches are all over the place in terms of quality.

But it’s something familiar, somewhat.

I dunno how much im going to actually wear it, but its comforting to at least have (despite the quality).

This is a bit ranty, but- i saw a post abt hilda and The Mountain king (I’ll shorten it to hatmk for my sakes) and, it was about how trylla is the villain, i somewhat agreed, but then when i went back to see it again, i saw the day after they had made another post. About how she was abusive?? As someone who has suffered parents who use abusive behaviors, i understand where theyre coming from, again, but i feel this is a GREAT misuse of the word, what trylla did to me was.. awful, but in my canon, and in hatmk (both the movie and graphic novel) she does not abuse me or her child. I would say mistreated maybe, unwilling is another word, but abusive?? It just makes me feel uncomfortable. And looking back on the first post, i also feel like they’re treating trylla uncharitably, yes she shouldnt have basically kidnapped me, but she wasnt doing it out of malice, was her reason good? No! Is she an awful irredeemable troll who wanted me to suffer? Also no!

Sorry, i just needed to get this out, its been weighing on my mind for a while.
