Finally they were out of that meeting, Tanya had gotten away thankfully with detention for the next week after Hannah explained what had happened... though it would be with Suzy as well. Tanya was cheerfully describing to Hannah about the many creative ways she was going to torment her during those sessions when they almost bumped into another kid.
“Oh! Sorry, we didn’t see you there.” Hannah apologised with a small smile.
A note has been left where little Dave can find it. Gumm-Gumm scrawl. 'You will be welcomed back. Your sister lives.' A small map has been scribbled. A map leading to a fetch.
Rootas had not been... mean to him, but had kept him from leaving the den. Dave guessed it was to stop him from going back. He missed his sister... he’d make plans tonight.
