As World Princess Week goes on, my movie's recommendation for today is Disney's Snow White (2025), a live-action remake of their first animated classic.

Rachel Zegler is incredibly charismatic in the main role, which fits her like a glove. This film offers a very sweet and dream-like story, as well as a wonderful soundtrack with the new songs written by the famous Pasek & Paul duo.

A lot of vitriol has been - and still is - spat at this movie, starting as soon as Rachel Zegler was cast as Snow White. It was quite like with live-action The Little Mermaid, but much worse. Trolls and haters are constantly attacking anyone who dares share appreciation for this film on any online outlet. And yet Snow White hasn't left the top 10 on Disney + since its release on the platform yet, so my hope is that it will gain some cult following in the future.
