The only daughter of Tresillo and Wani, and the successor to both the Reggaeton and K-Pop Trolls. Sweet, gentle, understanding and patient, Yeona is one of, if the most easy-going and pleasant trolls to talk to.
Yeona works as an elementary school teacher in Trollstopia, teaching young trolls how to hone their voices. Ever since she was young, she loved going to school to learn how to sing, and wanted to do the same when she got older. As soon as she graduated, she hoped into a program for young teachers and took the classes by storm. She one of the most popular teachers at her school, not just for her personality, but for how dynamic and flexible her voice is.
Outside of work, Yeona offers to tutor young trolls who might be struggling with their voices. She does have some workaholic tendencies, often pushing herself to the limits for her students sake. While they love how passionate she is, her parents have had to pull her out of “work spirals” on occasion, essentially forcing her to take a break. She strives for perfection, she does.
Music wise, Yeona is a mix of Reggaeton and K-Pop, while developing a love for Latin-Pop down the road. Growing up in a household with such different music, Yeona is definitely one of your “down for anything” kinda trolls. She can sing in several different languages, can dance to any song, and often does mashups in her spare time. Her reggae dancing can put Tresillo’s to shame, and he’s so damn proud of that.
Yeona currently resides in Trollstopia alongside her parents.
Fun Facts!
- Yeona is currently dating Strawberry, one of the children of Branch and Poppy. The two knew each other as children, with Branch being so close to her parents, but she really started showing romantic interest in her when Strawberry came to the schools to give little lessons on entomology. Yeona can listen to Strawberry talk about bugs for hours and never get bored.
- Yeona does gymnastics in her spare time. As a kid, she had boundless amounts of energy, so her parents signed her up for gym to help her regulate it. She wound up being extraordinary at it, and could’ve taken it on professionally. But she just prefers it as a hobby. When she’s feeling upset or angry, she’ll head to the gym and do stunts to work out her feelings.
- Yeona and Rosebud, daughter of Creek and Floyd, don’t get alone too well. Yeona sees Rosebud as a bit vulgar (which she is), and Rosebud sees Yeona as too uptight (also true). Their naturally clashing personalities make them butt heads often. At mass gatherings, they do their best to ignore each other, though they will team up to talk shit about someone they both dislike (this is rare though).
And that’s Yeona! She was SO fun to design, I had a lot of fun with her. I tried to make her a glossy coat like Wani’s, but it didn’t really work out lksdjfsldkfj. I was considering giving her a sibling, but ehhh, she strikes me as an only child.
