Kilran at Four Sweeps"Dad, dad I'll be fine," Kilran called from within the cave, his sweet face echoing back towards where his lusus paced angrily outside. "I promise! I'll be right back, I just need to grab my toy!" That clearly didn't sooth the feelings of the vulture outside and the little lowblood had to duck to avoid the angry pecking of his father. Chuckling, Kilran simply slipped further into the cave in response, the ratty clothes hanging off his frame collecting the dirt and dust around him, cobwebs catching in his long, messy red hair - but he didn't care. He didnt' care how the rocks poked at his bare feet or how they ruined his clothes. He was a child on a mission.A mission that, unfortunately, he would never complete.Kilran never noticed how the shadows moved around him, how they followed his every move as he searched for the little ball he liked to play with. He never noticed how they crept closer and closer until they were almost upon him. It was only when he finally did find his ball and it was swept right out of his hands did he think to look up and blink."Hello again Kilran. Do you want to play another game?"
