Happy Tron Day! In honor of this very special day, I thought I’d upload the first chapter of my fic! I’m excited to share it with you!

Sam is working to re-build The Grid, but it’s tougher than he thought. The work his father did was genius, ahead of his time. Even with today’s technology, he’s struggling to rewrite the precious code that birthed The Grid. But going through his father’s old possessions, journals with mad scribblings that offer beacons of hope from time to time, and utilizing Quorra’s vast knowledge of her previous home is bringing them closer to their goal.

When Quorra was young, when she first arrived onto The Grid with all the others, she was above all, curious. She marveled at the sparkling city, watching the play of light shine on her fingertips like water or dreams. There was no way she could have predicted the events that led to her becoming the sole survivor of The Purge, the last remnants of Kevin Flynn’s miracle. Her mentor and friend always talked about the world beyond The Grid, filled with sunlight and laughter, television and fast food. Now that she finally left the dark world she’d called home, she’s realized that maybe it wasn’t so different from The Grid after all. So when she finds Sam late one night, asleep over an old journal of his father’s, covered in mathematical equations and code, she offers to help him.

About Tron Day Requests

Since, I've only gotten a few I'm going to go ahead and make small comics out of them and publish them tomorrow.

If anybody else wants to submit a request feel free to send it in.

I'll be working on the edits tonight and tomorrow morning before putting it all on the queue. Plenty of time for any more requests.

Since it's the anniversary for Tron's 1982 movie release...

I want to take requests for edits. You all know the type of edits I do (or you can see in the tag of #my-edits).

You just want something funny with your favorite character? You got it.

You want Tron's face over top of sailor moon? I already did that.

I have links to all the movies, the comic, and a play through of the game. I can't make gifs. You can be as specific or vague as you want in your requests. 

Regardless if I get any requests or not, I will still publish one or two edits since it is Tron Day.

TRON DAY

Some of the best memories I have with my father revolve around this movie. So cheers to the old, the new, and the future Tron movies, books and cartoons. Cheers to 31 years on the grid.
