Mags was being sad today so I told her this

You waste all this time and emotion and money being sad just to feel better. But you're going to feel better in the end, so why bother being sad in the first place? If something happened you can be sad, but whatever, you can't change it so spend your time being productive or at least doing something that isn't going to make you feel sad all the time. If you spend money to make yourself feel better or whatever, it's all gonna do the same thing in the end. Everything is gonna go on, and it'll be fine, so why exasperate your emotions more than you need to?
