i’ve said this before but like truly the biggest misstep (imo) the fandom does in interpreting their canon characters is to assume suguru is emotionally cold and satoru emotionally hot. that was only ever true in their third year of high school. suguru has always felt his emotions to a heightened extent, and satoru has always ultimately been the calmer of the two
#its like the#moon who is actually The Sun#vs sun who is actually The Moon#trope.#i think gojo is pretty suncoded too but like his emotional detachment is the core of his character arc#suguru’s inability to disconnect from his emotions is the core of /his/ character arc#all interpretations are valid etcetc. but from my perspective#this one is pretty superficial. focusing only on gojo’s loud and rough and only on suguru’s cold and calculating#wont get you as far as you might think#(psa i am ONLY talking abt interpreting canon . not having fun with fanon)
