I am genuinely so surprised at the fact I've managed to keep Trophy AU going for a year with like...semi-regular updates and almost 70k words posted.

Like, that is truly an achievement for me! Especially if you know my writing habits, at all. Haha.

Semi-AU/Plot Starter Idea with Lucid in His Dragon Form 🐉

Like Lucifer (or many of them) Lucid does in fact have a dragon form. Usually he takes a smaller version of it that’s like a large cat - medium dog size; scoopable. But he can make it as large or small as he wishes. There’s been two instances of him actually wreaking havoc in Pride in his larger forms (both due to Magic Anons).

Thinking if demons ever do underground pit fights with hell beasts, like humans do with chickens and dogs? What if some of them are wild dragons? What if a scenario happens where Lucid got caught by one of these crime rings while in his dragon form? And to prevent him from changing size/turning back into an angel they put some nullifying collar on him? Or took his halo and that somehow prevents him from turning back?

Obviously Lucid would not want to fight and with his colors and “purity” appearance, he may be planned to be sold as a trophy pet? (I doubt many wild dragon beasts in Hell have 6 angelic wings). Could lead to a potential meeting between muses by either busting him out or they buy him only to discover after the collar is removed (or halo returned) that the dragons actually an angel?

Idk maybe something like “Trophy AU”?

I’m honestly surprised no one’s ever asked about the kids names in Trophy AU. Cause it’s not a detail that can be like, worked into the story. But I think it’s interesting nonetheless. 😂

honestly the fact that i'm even still writing trophy au is amazing to me. i am a chronic fic abandoner...... like if you look at my track record....nary a complete multichap fic in the bunch.

i don't know what spirit has possessed me that i might actually finish this fic within 2 years of when i started it. insanity really.
