Trosia nigropunctigera (Megalopygidae) is a South American moth commonly known as Rosy Flannel moth.
In this species the forewings are white or pale straw-coloured, and are marked with a pattern of small black median spots. The head, legs, abdomen and hindwings are red or pink, and the thorax is marked with 6 red spots.
Trosia nigropunctigera is found in Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Ecuador and Peru.
