If you’ve watched television sitcoms, you’ve been exposed to it, but how often have you acknowledged it? I understand why you wouldn’t. It’s because it would become a distraction to your viewing pleasure. But it is there, you are hearing it, it’s affecting how you experience that sitcom, and in my opinion, it humiliates the viewer.
