Clipboard in hand, Olivia gave a quick scan over the information she’d been given. The moment she’d heard about the barrier dropping, she was first in line to help out. Not her father’s favorite idea, but there was no stopping her when she felt the drive to do something. Helping the children of villains to acclimate currently being at the top of her list. “Do you think all of them will show up for the first day? Do we have enough maps? Maybe I should’ve posted more signs. Oh, I’m just so excited!”

“Mal?” He said her name softly, knocking at the door frame to her room but not entering. From what he’d heard through the rumors that trickled into his club that night his little sister had not had a good day to say the least. While he didn’t care about that really, it was the fact that she might be injured that worried him. She was after all his little dragon, wether she liked it or not. Moving to lean upon the frame instead he arched a brow at her. “What happened?”

Regina was no stranger to not believing in ones self.  She still struggled after all and she didn’t entirely fit in in Auradon yet.  Even after all these years everyone was still very wary of her.  Even though she had redeemed herself.  “That one is all that counts Mal.  As long as one person believes in you.”  A small smirk from Regina.  “You can conquer the world.”  Regina offered Mal a small smile.  “You’re welcome all the same.”

He stilled, having finished a complicated pattern of sword moves, not crouched upon the ground blade extended by his side from the slash that had finished his dance. Breathing only a bit disrupted he rose, bare chest covered in sweat from his morning work out as he turned to see who had come in half way through his routine. It was rare that someone would come this far into his families home or that they would be allowed. Which meant it was not some weakling. 

His suspicions where confirmed when his eyes alighted upon the purple haired girl. “Mal.” Moving towards her he flicked his blade and then sheathed it by his side, stopping just before her and looking slightly up. Their training area set into the ground several steps down from the main house. “This is unexpected. I do hope you have a reason for coming into my home....uninvited.”

“why would you ever want to leave auradon? it’s the best place EVER! ------- they have a thing called smores and they’re so messy and yummy i love them!” the isle was home, a place that will be in her heart for all eternity, but auradon? it was so different in such a beautifully peaceful way. “and we have nice textbooks! what’s not to love?!” ( @troubleddragon liked for a starter !! )

“…You too?” she questioned. Her eyes shifted from the party off in the distance to the boy. She couldn’t speak for him, but what was with members of her family and not being invited to parties? Mal didn’t like social events in the first place, but how could she reject an invitation if she didn’t receive one?

“What do you say we teach them not to leave us out, huh?”

“Yeah,” Peter said. He tried to keep his voice nonchalant, like he totally didn’t caere that he wasn’t invited. Sure, he was used to it- not a lot of people wanted the kid of the disgraced scientist known for his child experiments at a party but it would be nice to just pretend he’d ever gone, or anyone ever asked. He looked over at Mal, feeling a twitch at his lips. “Really? How?”

“Look who decided to show her face after playing traitor,” Lilith practically purred, eyes flashing to a demonic black as they took in the fairy. It may not have been much, but on an island without magic even the smallest tricks had an impact. “What’s brought you crawling back?”
