hiatus announcement
I know I owe starters that I said I’d do yesterday, but I seem to be struggling with my muse on this blog. That said, I’m going to be placing Olivia on a brief hiatus through until next weekend while I try to recover her. If nothing else, I’ll simply throw her onto my multimuse when I get that finished.
I know I owe starters over here, but I ended up spending my whole weekend hanging out with my grandma and then making icons. That said, those will for sure get posted tomorrow ^^

It seemed as though putting distance between herself and the lake was far more easier than her memories. And it wasn’t as though she could lie to Uma, they were close enough the pirate would be able to tell. So... “My mother drowned...saving me from drowning...”

“Mysteries?” Finding his interest piqued at the notion of a problem to solve, Carlos glanced over at her books, attempting to discern some of the titles before he turned his attention to her question. Lifting his shoulder in a shrug, waited for a moment then nodded. “Couldn’t sleep either. Thought I’d do some studying or something till I felt tired…” he answered, smiling afterwards in a friendly manner, getting a sense that he had perhaps startled her.
“Uhhhh...of the universe, yeah,” she answered quickly, and not at all convincingly. Typically one to perform well under pressure, Olivia certainly wasn’t living up to that claim tonight. Readjusting the herself, she moved towards his table, pausing behind the empty seat across from him. “Care to study together?”

Would. Past tense. Curiosity begged her to ask, but given Olivia’s own story, control won out and the question was put to bed. “I think people just search for more reasoning with the bad than the good.”

Spice things up. Well, that somehow sounded ominous, and the look Uma was giving gave little to change that opinion. However determination won out, and Olivia settled her stance in much the same way her friend had, blade low as she met the other’s eyes. “I’m ready.”

There were… quite a lot of logistics to go through. Duties that only she could oversee. Of course, with assistance from others, but the citizens of Auradon couldn’t quite grasp the large transition. Mal flipped through her own papers. “Olivia, I absolutely love your enthusiasm,” she started. Mal was being honest. Much of Auradon was hesitant about the decision. “But… those kids won’t be used to it. All this goodness is completely foreign to the isle kids. Some of them might get turned off quick.
“Right, turn down on the chipper scale. I can do that,” she said, a shiver of excitement running through her despite herself. Of course Olivia could understand the hesitance some citizens of Auradon had about this, but her best friend had been freed by Mal’s decision. Plus she really believed in what they were doing in giving these kids a chance. They more than deserved it. “Other than cooling it with the goodness overload, do you have any other advice for helping them adjust?”
