[SSS] What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done in front of a crush?
“Not exactly a crush, but picture this,” she said with a grin. “I was at party with this woman and we were having just a little too much to drink. The man hosting the party collected exotic animals and had been doing these tours showing off his little zoo. She and I hung back because we wanted to see the animals closer, I know.. I did say we were drinking too much.” Nahi’s eyes sparkle with mischief, “We started daring each other to do dumb stuff. Little things at first like making faces at the fish, throwing flowers we picked off some of the fancy decorations and throwing them to birds to see if they would eat them. Gradually things escalated until she dared me to go up to this gorilla cage and touch one that had its back to us.” ”It wasn’t like I was going to be mean to it or anything but I am not one known for backing down from a dare, or a bet, so I slowly made my way over and a comedy of errors occurred. The main doors to the conservatory opened as the braggart brought in the next group, so I turned and was going to run off.” The performer can notlet a good story go without a bit of a flourish so she leans in closer, “Gorillas are very fast, they don’t look like they would be but they are. When I turned, it reached out to grab me, catching the back of my dress. People walked around the corner, catching me in a corset, stockings and heels, the gorilla holding my designer gown in its hand.” She chuckles at the memory, “The woman I was with ran off and left me there too. A very nice man wrapped me in his tuxedo jacket while we both were trying to control our laughter, only made worse by the estate owner’s apoplexy, I have never seen a man so red in the face to this day.
