Decades, centuries, millennia before the Justice League, there was Greece. An ancient, thriving culture and land filled with god worshiping people and most importantly... The Amazons. In those days, Milagro simple went by Malia. A great warrior. A girl loyal to her queen, loyal to her goddess, and hateful of men.
An Amazon.
The island where she lived was mean't to keep her safe, and immortal... but when her Queen asked her to accompany a new hero on his quest... she didn't question leaving. Malia was not happy about leaving her home, her sisters... but she had to. She had to listen to her queen. She would not have asked such a task if it were not important.
Malia made her way to Mans-World, finding the town where the demi-god lived. she towered above the other women, a good 2 feet taller than some of them. She was also larger than most men. People backed away from her as she walked. Finding his home was not difficult. Malia pulled open the door and entered. "I am Malia, Amazonian Warrior of the Gods. Sent here to join you on your mission to becoming a hero."
