Nice! Candlelight always makes a scene very romantic. Here it’s just a matter of pushing the shadows that you have and adding highlights that really emphasize the nature of candlelight (a very harsh and direct light, not like the filtered and scattered light of a lamp).
For perspective, you can think of the body in boxes and cylinders! By tweaking the arm a little bit, we can make the writing hand a big focal point.

Hi! It’s me again! I’m not able to stop thinking in black and white. And to the multiple anons who sent me a hate messages about this: no, I genuinely did not understand. I have autism, so it’s hard for me to understand certain social concepts, so I sometimes have to ask for clarification. ‘Black and white thinking’ is often described as a trait of autism. Sometimes, people have their own reasons for genuinely misunderstanding things. I’m sorry if I came off as hostile, but I often get confused.
well, i didn’t know you were autistic so thank you for clarifying that, but ok here’s what went wrong. i made a post about how people shout pedophilia at a ship between very obvious adults, and you asked if that somehow meant i supported all the “gross” ships. i didn’t understand where that connection was made, and that’s a very, very common tactic being used to bait people into talking about their ships, which opens them up to bullying/doxxing/death threats from antis. so that’s a whole other can of worms that has absolutely nothing to do with my thoughts about spideypool. and speaking of bullying, people should not ever send hate mail. kind of sad that has to be said
