Trucker Indicted For Murdering Furniture Store Manager Over Loading Dispute

A Tennessee trucker has been indicted on a first-degree murder charge in the shooting death of a freight dock manager at a furniture store earlier this year. Shelby County prosecutors said Thursday that 53-year-old trucker Timothy Saunders is being held without bond on criminal court charges in the May slaying of 41-year-old Thomas Hartman. Investigators said Saunders became enraged in a heated dispute with Hartman, store manager for American Freight Furniture on Highway 64, around 12:30 p.m. on May 9.

Man Charged With Murder After Trucker Dies From Multiple Stab Wounds

Richmond, IN – The man who brutally attacked a trucker during a dispute earlier this month is now facing a murder charge. According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, 55-year-old Angel Cruz, of Miami, Florida, succumbed to his injuries last Friday. Cruz sustained numerous stab wounds during an attack by 47-year-old Pavel Nery-Gonzalez, also of Miami, Florida, on August 16 along I-70.
