🧣for Aya, "Goodness darlin' your freezing " -Trudy.
Aya was made for tropical waters, not artic seas. The island was a freezing one, and Aya had underestimated just how cold it was - or rather, how cold it would get. The morning had started off nice enough, but as the day went on, the temperature seemed to continually drop. She tried to power through it, not wanting to make the long walk back to the docks to the ship, knowing Andria and the others would fuss over her if they saw her red nose and cheeks.
So she stood in front of a market stall, shivering slightly as she looked over different winter fruits the merchant sold. Focused on the fruit in front of her, she didn't notice another approaching. Only when the scarf landed around her shoulders did Aya look up, jolting slightly with a squeak as she realizes she's not the only one at the market stall anymore.
"I, um, - oh. Thank, um, thank you?" Aya's a little confused at the random act of kindness from the stranger, to say the least. Still, the scarf was soft and warm - a thick wool that helped keep her warm. Even if she was confused, she was grateful.
