Continuing on with viewing dystopian movies. Shout out to this king for not going fucking insane.

Man literally had the knowledge that there was no escape to The Maze for how long? Didn't tell nobody and just kept running like no big deal?? I would've gone crazy knowing I was leading my friends on with false hope. But he's an icon, he's the moment, he's built different.

But seriously, that replica he built of the maze was immaculate. He'd been running for 3 years? How long did he know, how long did it take him to find out that there was no exit? How did he decide not to tell the other?? It seems like Alby didn't know, that's a huge thing to keep from the one who's been there the longest.

Anyways, I haven't read the books yet, so I'll keep you updated. But overall a very slay movie, made my knees hurt thinking about all the running

Hallow stares at Kasaanda with their unnerving ability to remain still enough that not even their chest seemed to move to breath. Instead they were left with the unsettling carcass of their shared sorrow between them.

"I do." Hallow says, their body not following suit with the heaviness of her words until it's like she remembers she'll get sore if she doesn't move in some capacity. Hallow leans back to take their elbows off their knees and crossing their ankles out in front of them. Their arms cross and now it is as if they cannot be comfortable in their own skin.

The fear that had gripped the child she was. Screamed herself into passing out. Bit and drew blood from the Templars... and how acrid it tasted laced with Lyrium.

The past settles where it belongs and Hallow adjusts again, the buzzing in her bones lowering and with it the sudden chill in the air dissipates, with only static lingering to make a few hairs on both her own and Kasaanda's head raise.

"More tea?" Hallow groans as they lean forward, pouring herself some and holding the kettle to add more to the other's cup.
