7 March 2016 - True Trim Update

Hey guys, time for another True Trim update, and this time there are quite a few additions to True Trim overall. My good friend Emba delved into his tucked away notes and found quite a few more requirements which I will list. Also, the new miniquest “Tales of the God Wars” was released today. Unfortunately, there are no new reqs with the quest itself other then to complete it, but there were a few additions in the patch notes this week.

Emba’s New Reqs

Player Owned Ports - Completion, all special crew unlocked, all superior rewards

Mudskipper hat and flippers recieved

Perfect rune ceremonial swords (I-V)

Delivered Longramble some tangled toad’s legs

Cleared the shortcut to the Kalphite King

Ceremonial sword one-time xp rewards

Exhausted the silver ore rock in Al Kharid

Filled in all information for Ali the Wise, Gwir, and Derni, Dernu and Miodvetnir

Enabled Rory and Amelia to retell the Myreque quest series

Dungeoneering Resource dungeons xp claimed (including the Worldbearer ring)

All Invention blueprints discovered

Icthlarin’s LIttle Helper - final cutscene and one time dialogue with pet cat

The Chosen Commander - post quest dialogue from Duke Horacio and Johanhus Ulsbrecht

Only new additions with this week’s update are the POH Bookcase where you must add the books :

There is another update where Lord Iowerth’s and Lady Ithell’s dialogue has been changed post The Light Within. However, we still need to investigate this update to see if that changes any current requirements or adds a new one.

22 February 2016 - True Trim Updates

Its been a while since I’ve made one of these updates so here it is. Since it’s been so long I’m not really going to acknowledge seasonals or any other none True Trim update that’s been released.

True Trim Updates :

-All Illuminated God Books must be placed in your POH Bookcase

Bandos

Armadyl

Ancient

Zamorak

Guthix

Saradomin

The items, Lab Coat and Lightbulb Hat from Invention must be made and placed in the Magic Wardrobe in the POH Costume Room.

And with the obvious, 200m Invention is now a requirement for True Trim.

Problems with my True Trim Spreadsheet

Hey guys, over the past couple days I have become aware with a few issues on my True Trim Google Sheet. I was being swamped with emails of people requesting access to certain pages of the document. Somehow, my 2nd and 3rd part became unviewable to anyone but me, which has since been fixed.

Also, I apologize for the lack of updates within the spreadsheet itself, which still hasn’t been updated since before the Master Quest Cape was released. I got a little lazy with my own grind for the Cape that I never did update that part of it. Since, I’ve been in training for the army since the beginning of January and haven’t had access to a computer.

I am returning home within the next 24 hours and will spend the next week or so grinding max back and updating the full spreadsheet.

15 Year Anniversary | True Trim Update

Happy 15 years guys! I, myself, have only been around for 13 of those years, but its been a fun ride! Honestly I can’t believe how much this game has progressed over the years and become such a big part of so many people’s lives! Anyways, here is this weeks True Trim updates :

Seasonal Requirements :

Unlock all 15 statues from the event (this will unlock : limited edition birthday dance emote, Runescape’s classic skilling thought bubble animation, 15th birthday emote, and finally “Cracker Wings” cosmetic override)

Unlock “the Historian” title by answering all 15 questions of “The Drop” correctly during the event

Unlock the 15 anniversary tunic by popping 15 balloons

note. Unlocking the 15th anniversary balloon by popping 50 balloons is not required. 

There are no True Trim updates with this event.

2016 Goals

Finishing up with 2015 I made a crazy amount of progress that I never thought I would make. So, starting 2016 my full intention is to just go balls to the walls (after January). Unfortunately I will be leaving for a month mid january to mid february so rip all gains then (won’t log in at all). But that won’t stop me from making massive goals this year. Here they are :

Insane Final Boss (14/28) : missing - Legios, Kbd, Kq, Kk, Bombi, Elly, Corp, Kiln, Nex

2b Overall Xp (1.18b atm)

200m Dungeoneering (190m atm)

Daredevil Title

120 Invention

Complete a multitude of Minigames (Barbarian Assault, Flash Powder Factory, Pyramid Plunder, Trouble Brewing and Soul Wars) Full reqs to complete these on my personal thread.

Both Phoenix Pets (completely RNG and currently 200ish days dry)

Strange Token (the most lol thing on this list but hopefully will get pre 200m)

Krar Jnr (also very RNG but gl me)

All Boss Assistance rewards

All Social Slayer rewards

All Achto Raids Armors (very rng but 4/15 atm)

And that’ll be it for my goals for 2016. These items are the ones that I will be mainly focusing on throughout the year. These are listed in order of importance to me and will most likely complete in this order (except Invention before my 2b goal). More then half of these are completely RNG based so who knows what will happen. :p Happy New Year to you all and I hope 2016 hold great things for you :)

Achieved the Master Quest Cape exactly 1 week after release! Pretty stoked to knock this off the list of stuff to do! :p Really helped to have half the reqs already done from trimming :^). Back to the IFB grind :)
