10 years ago, we had a litter of 6 kittens who had eyelid agenesis (basically, their eyelids didn't form), and they all needed surgery wherein the vet took pieces off the corners of their mouths to create eyelids. (The surgery went great!) We named the kittens after characters from True Blood (the series AND the books). One of those kittens was this one, Bill, whose sweet face you can see these days over at @george_and_red alongside his little brothers George and Red (who were our fosters Carlin and Skelton back in 2015 - they were two of the litter born to Lucille Ball, born on April Fool's Day, and all named after comedians.)
