Or the one where Amalia enters the workshop right after the end of episode 12 and sees a troubling and nauseating kiss between Augustus Bidlow and sweet Penance, the pain that follows, and a possible path to reconciliation.

I love this moment because penance is basically giving amalia permission to use violence

Over on YouTube, I really love all of wanderlust's Penance/Amalia videos, they're wonderfully done and so well edited.

But the most recent one, Dynasty, is especially beautiful. It's also a little sad to watch, knowing that the ending of 1B is all we have.

A part of me can't help but think, with the set-up at the end of 1B, a season 2 could very well have seen Truedair come to life. At the very least, there would have been a wonderful arc of them coming back to each other again.

Goddammit, I hate all these cancellations and the streaming models that play such a big part in them...

At least we still have the fandom, no matter how small.

if not canon why this??? and not just the touching but what penance is saying?? "the cloud that wanted thunder but was too gentle to hold it" could apply to how penance views her and amalia's relationship, she (the cloud obviously because pen is the gentlest person, the ray of sunshine) wants amalia (the thunder, strong and loud and that comes with storms and can cause destruction) but thinks she might be too gentle to truly be able to be with amalia, that amalia wouldn't want anything with her because she is too much of a nice girl, maybe penance thinks that because of her always being so nice to everyone she is too weak to deserve amalia? idk but all that gave a lot of food for thought
