This Independence Day I’m posting about the women who advocated for independence and freedoms for women. From suffrage to contraception access (by the extremely flawed Margaret Sanger) to trying to get an Equal Rights Amendment passed. In order we have Sojourner Truth, Frances Ellen Watkins Harper, Lucy Stone, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, Ida B. Wells, Alice Paul, Inez Milholland Boissevain, the aforementioned Margaret Sanger (who also believed in eugenics, unfortunately), and Gloria Steinem. These women and so many others were beaten, starved, force fed, jailed, and otherwise abused for advocating for the rights that so many of us enjoyed in the US over the past century. We have already started losing the right of bodily autonomy, privacy, and self-determination. Further backsliding dishonors their efforts and memories. Do YOU want equality?

Then fucking stop putting men down. Treat them how you want to be treated. is it that hard you dumb cunts? You want equality? THEN stand up for men! Fight for their rights to be lowered to our rights such as court rules in abusive cases and family cases etc. Men are more likely to kill themselves than your petty woman privileged life of woe is me. We have it so easy in comparison. You want equality? Then fucking stand up for women in countries where they dont have a say and rise awareness to their laws instead of just your countries rules. You want equality? Then fucking stop saying there's a "wage gap" when there isnt. LOOK up your stupid laws on the issue as there's laws to protect you against shit like that. Even then if there is a difference, look at your fucking age. Our wages shoot up after 40 due to the age of having kids after that is slim! DO YOU WANT EQUALITY? THEN FIGHT FOR ALL RIGHTS! NOT JUST THE RIGHTS OF WOMEN!
