It had been a few months since he last saw Roger. The last the met was after he found that island he claimed existed. He’d been impressed and a little proud for his rival on that accomplishment. What should have been a small celebration at the newly crowned Pirate King’s accomplishment had been soured when he met with Roger in Wano to see his brother Oden off. It was then Roger said he was dying, some disease was going to claim him. It was a tragic end, and Whitebeard would miss their clashes on the sea. It was unlikely he would meet another man that challenged him as much as Gol D. Roger.

Then just yesterday Roger shocked the world with some sort of Alliance with Garp’s Son. The young man was stirring some sort of trouble of his own. Whispers of some sort of organization or group being started. It hadn’t been of any interest to Newgate. He had everything he needed in his family... well, except for Rouge which Roger had won over, but that was a loss he’d come to accept. What did a dying pirate plan to do now? Last he heard Roger was still sick and retired from piracy. Now he was up to something with Dragon? As the ship neared the Moby, it seemed he’d find out soon...
