Last month I was really craving some back to basics figure painting, and I found this ref that trueref.bsky.social posted last year for their July drawing challenge. Could not say no to that lighting.

Saw the WLW pack from TrueRef and it screamed korrasami to me so here’s what i got before my stylus battery died, will finish later
I finished the sketch of my death godlike Iose. He has the St. Ydwen's Redeemer great sword in one hand and the Whispers of Yenwood sword in the other. I really don't know what i was trying to achieve with that weird chest protection back in 2023 kajsajka. His very first design, from 2019, didn't have that thing (he was shirtless, almost naked, because i was too lazy to figure out the barbarian armor from the game).
Now, let's see if I can color this tonight.

((more figure studies using some pose packs from TrueRef! this one is for a partner but I thought I'd share with any dehydrated cyborg fans on here
bought a couple TrueRef (on TWT/X) packs recently as a treat and because im very normal i did a study on one of the images and made it Jen because i can
there is a bug in my brain it whispers its demands to me… i must heed its calls for big green lawyer lady!!!!
The king never requested statues of himself, though that didn't stop the sculptors. Their beloved king was immortalized in the woods where small creatures were inexplicably drawn to the simulacrum, just as his human subjects were drawn to the original. Drawn for The April True Ref Challenge (https://trueref.io/)
Found a pose on TrueRef that I HAD to draw as my favorite fae NPC from my DnD world.
