Why am I like this?

You know those days where you wake up and the idea of dealing with people just feels like a chore? Well I woke up this afternoon and didn’t want to get up because I’m home alone and I have no one yelling at me to get up. But then I checked my wattpad messages and saw that one of my friends had been messaging me for the past 4 hours and he’d given up and said he was just going to show up at my house and then I heard a knock at my front door and I panicked. I ended up army crawling around the house to get rid of any evidence that I was there, and now I’m sitting in my mother's wardrobe because it’s the biggest space with no windows and I don’t know how to tell someone to leave without sounding mean or rude, so instead I chose to hide in a closet with my laptop in the middle of fucking summer and this explains my social life.

My ND traits include face-blindness and holding onto traumatic memories despite trying really hard to forget them. One of them came bubbling up in the shower today.  About 15 years ago I was at the housewarming party of a slightly famous person, and there were some other minor celebrities there.  I knew the host of a TV show I liked was there, and I saw them, and I worked up my nerve to go say hello.  And when I did, I said ‘oh, I heard you were here - I really like your show’ And they said ‘What show?’ ... It wasn’t the right guy.  But that guy DID look super familiar and I never did figure out who they were.
