In April of 2024 I loaned a sculpture to the university president for a one month long show at his personal gallery on campus. After the month was up I was asked if he could keep it through the summer. I said okay because I didn’t want to go through the hassle of packaging it up safely to take it back. Summer turned into fall semester. End of fall semester my piece disappeared from the gallery and the website where they list all the work. I slowly came to terms with the fact that my most beloved sculpture I made in ceramics was gone.
