Trunks DBZ NYCC 2016 She made those boots, y'all don't understand how official they are.
A crash landing sends Mirai Trunks to the current Dragon Ball Z timeline. Before he causes a commotion with the Trunks of this timeline he must figure out why he was sent here and adapt to new people and the naivety of the other him.
I don’t write fics... but when I do they are DBZ... and mostly about Trunks or the Briefs family XP.

They had Mai call Trunks her boyfriend in Ressurection of F, so i doubt they will drop it in Super. She's also not an adult anymore and obviously can't date older men.
But she still has all her memories of being an adult (given her general actions and motivations as seen) and is therefore not actually a child, either. De-aging is really hard to play when you’re doing couples and honestly I’m baffled at why it was thrown in as an actual thing instead of a gag. No, Mai cannot date adults either, but my guess for the series is that Pilaf gang are trying to get the balls to wish themselves back to their rightful ages so that might not be a long term issue.
Idk, maybe Super will somehow do it better, but it is just really creepy to have Mai, who was older than Bulma and tried to kill her in the past, de-aged physically due to a poorly-worded wish (still confused as to why Super hasn’t explained when the movie did, we’ll probably get a flashback later or something), and now starting a “relationship” with Bulma’s 12-or-8 year old son (since in the series Trunks is younger than the movie had him be). Trunks clearly has no idea who she is or what she’s done, either.
I just think it works better if Mai is using Trunks for her own protection or something (not better for Trunks, but better as how it’s written).
