It was a very shivery day which meant one thing:
Yoongi was COLD.
Being a cold-blooded snake hybrid had some benefits:
Long days of sunbathing when the weather was nice and warm
A much better sense of smell than those weakling humans
Pretty mermaid-like shimmering scales
BUT.
when it was wintertime, all he could think was BRRRR
I mean, c’mon.
Yes he could and had made it through this trying fourth season
BUT cold-bloodedness definitely is not a plus when it comes to braving blizzards.
Luckily, he had you to help his constant shivering
You were always warm as freshly steamed bao, and if you weren’t, you could just cuddle up with fluffy sweaters
Which, speaking of which was one of his favorite things to do!
Cuddling in your sweaters!
Usually he hated cuddling with people, but you were the exception
because you truly loved him and saw behind his colder exterior.
You had met yoongi at uni where at first you found him a little… shall we say, hard to talk to.
He had tried to dissuade you from being his friend
He hadn’t spoken to you
Chuckled menacingly whenever he passed by you
purposefully was difficult when you worked on labs with him
Blasted his music right when you walked past him, causing many ear aches
And made fun of your more childish ways
-cough- pouting over everything and anything
But, you had remained undeterred, and here you were!
He had apologized for his behavior and regretted his past foolishness, because that was just too much to make your poor self go thru but the past is in the past
And now!
You’re Yoongi’s best friend and girl friend!
Well enough with the backstory,
You just had finished your uni class and walked through the door, fluffy scarf wrapped around your neck, hands piled with textbooks on biology.
Your hybrid boyfriend was nowhere in sight so you assumed he was probably coming home later, as he often spent the nights at his home studio.
As you walk in though, you quickly see a two foot long green snake with shimmering scales on your couch cuddled serenely in a massive pile of your blankets.
He must have been too sleepy and cold to stay in hybrid form :’(
Poor baby!
You quickly rush over and plop yourself down beside him.
“Do you want me to get you some hot cocoa? food? Hot water? A heating lamp?”
He looks at you with calm reptilian eyes
Without a word, he quickly slithers into one of your sleeves, and adorably pokes his head out the other sleeve
Brrrrr
You try hard not to shiver
“Oh babyyy” you squeal, “your scales are so cold!”
He just stares at you with big eyes and flicks his tongue out
Eventually, you study for a while before falling asleep, your computer on your lap typing about mitosis, and him curled securely in your sweater
