It was a couple of days after the party and Danny still had not regulated his sleep schedule after a long night at the hotel. With a tired expression, Danny waited in line at The Coffee Stop. Looking around, Danny spotted a semi-familiar face and nodded at him. “You disappeared at your party.” Danny teased him, crossing his arms over his chest. He recalled the events of the night and shook his head. “Talk about ending a party with a bang, huh?”

The night had been slow, but Jordan fully expected that with most of the town afraid to come out during the nighttime hours. He was thinking of closing down and adjusting the hours temporarily when the sound of the door caught his attention. He leaned back in his chair to get a better view of the front counter from his back office. He didn’t usually get up to greet customers when he had staff on the clock, but this was someone he wanted to speak with. Making his way through the back, he told the girl working the counter he had this one. “Mike. What can I get you?” Jordan asked, in an attempt to be friendly.
