A couple of Late Night Thoughts:
1. Amy and Knuckles are both caregivers at heart—Amy due to a general love for people and crush on Sonic, Knuckles because of his dual role as guardian of Angel Island—, and they’ve been that for Sonic and Tails for A While without any one of them realizing it.
2. Amy and Knuckles are still traumatized children themselves and thus, cannot fully be the caregivers Sonic and Tails truly need
3. Mario and Peach thus foil Amy and Knuckles in a way I haven’t had the chance to explore just yet
4. This works even more so due to shared color schemes. Cool! That’s the kinda crap I really vibe with.
With all that in mind, however:
5. Mario would foil Knuckles in this scenario.
6. If given the opportunity to go toe to toe with Super Sonic, do we think Mario would be able to punch the Chaos Emeralds out of him???
