i suspect my insubstantial personality/opinions on this blog is in part due to the hostility of tumblr's drafting feature. it's really clunky for me and it consumes more CPU power than it should (which heats up my laptop), even on the beta/neue editor, so there isn't much incentive to actually make original content. then again: point about derivation.
