hey, hey, hamlet! im sort of new to ur blog so i have no idea if you have an au like this but: ive heard that naomasa tsukauchi's quirk has to do with being something like a lie detector. what if there was a canon where tsukauchi was izuku's father, so izuku had a sort of lie detector quirk of his own?
id written an outline for this way earlier and i had a sad idea in which inko told izuku "im sorry" or "i love you" and izuku realized that she was lying to him- which is how he discovered his quirk. even tho that would never happen in canon (bc INKO IS A BLESSING!!!) it has some serious angst potential, huh?

Ooh I’ve thought about a truth quirk Izuku before! There was a character in the agent os asgard comics, Verity Willis, who had a truth power taken in a way I thought was really neat. It was very much a curse for her, she couldn’t even enjoy fiction and it made having relationships really hard for her. I’d probably handle it like that I think!
