⭐️ In How to Kill Me, at the very end of one of Chapter 18, it’s one of the few rare “Inuyasha POV” sections. In it, Inuyasha thinks about how his secret plan could start to fall apart and that Kagome will find everything out. She’s singing “Love the Way You Lie” during it. Then, Chapter 26 is the chapter when she does, in fact, find out. The song quote for the chapter is from “Love the Way You Lie Pt. 2” and that was always planned.
⭐️ Chained was always planned to end on a cliffhanger but I personally believe she doesn’t take the shot. But it’s still bad because not finishing her contract means new, unknown hits coming both of their ways. So they go on the run. I wanted to do a quasi-sequel in which they are older, with two kids who have no idea until shit hits the fan in typical “spy” fashion, but the tone would be far too different.
⭐️ I wrote Truth Monster because I do very much love writing dark and twisted stories. Ones that aren’t unhappy but are like wtf are you doing? I wrote a story that took Truth Monster really far called Ledger’s Weeping. It’s inspired by a quote from the Black Widow and is so messed up I don’t know if I can post it. It was once on my website but FF.Net would ban it for sure.
⭐️ The only OC I’ve ever loved is Astaroth from How to Kill Me. In my head, he sounds British and chooses to sound that way because he thinks it makes him sound better. I started to write a ficlet of his misadventures and I hope to, one day, include him in an original story.
⭐️ I love murder mysteries. I’m obsessed. I have a hard time finding good ones because I usually guess the answers too early. Imaginary was born out of my love for a particular series by Kay Hooper. She writes paranormal murder mysteries. Sense of Evil inspired Imaginary. I haven’t read her new stuff because I’m saving it for when I can dive into that style of writing. BUT keep in mind they are old, like pre-cell phone usage. I read it every year and think about how quickly the story would end now thanks to technology 😂
